ATLAS, the revolutionary jack
In 2017, inspired by the concept of safe work in mines, we designed together with our engineers an extremely complete product: ATLAS - M100/72, with a maximum capacity of 110.2 tons.
In 2019 was introduced the first prototype, which represented an important step forward for the mining sector. In April of the same year, the new revolutionary jack was launched at Bauma exhibition in Munich (the leading platform for construction machinery and mining equipment), where we received a huge number of requests. The production of MAMMUT ATLAS officially started in 2022 after several internal and sector tests, in the limestone mine in Germany.
Actually, after several improvements made to ATLAS, we obtained a product that represents the technological vanguard of the MAMMUT range.
Thanks to the mechanical locking system located in the cylinder unit, operated by a remote control, ATLAS allows performing the maintenance of the lifted vehicle in complete safety, without the use of jack stands or support blocks, which are mandatory for all jacks without mechanical block.
The “safe locking” system, when operated by the remote control, blocks the load mechanically and a green LED indicator lights up automatically, thereby ensuring that the maintenance of the vehicle can be performed by the operator in an easy, efficient and safe way.
The jack is therefore equipped with:
- LED indicators for checking load security status
- Mechanical safety lock sealed inside the cylinder unit to protect it from dirt and dust
- Folding handle for easy transportation
- Standard remote control for all functions
- Pneumatic tyres for any surface
ATLAS is an extremely powerful, flexible and safe product: the most important requirements of those who perform maintenance for mining equipment.
