With the new photovoltaic installation, Cattini Oleopneumatica is getting greener

Cattini Oleopneumatica strongly supports the concept of sustainability and is committed to reducing its environmental impact in its work.

In 2021, we began the installation of a photovoltaic system which officially started operating in June 2022.

A photovoltaic system is a system that uses solar energy to produce electrical energy that can be used in various contexts. This type of system is composed of a set of solar panels, called photovoltaic modules, that convert solar energy into continuous electrical energy. The energy produced by the photovoltaic modules is then converted into alternating current through an electronic inverter, which makes it usable in the building's electrical system.

A photovoltaic system is a renewable and clean energy source that does not produce harmful emissions to the environment, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the fight against climate change.

Based on the reported data, the installed power of our panels is 175 kWp. We have 380 panels with a capacity of 450W. In 2022, we produced a total of 100 MWh of energy in 6 months and saved 83 MWh of electrical energy out of a total consumption of 200 MWh.

The photovoltaic panels have allowed us to have significant energy savings and to cover a good portion of our energy consumption.
